Job Summary

Global Shop Solutions Customer Care Representatives serve as the first interaction with customers on new tickets that come through the Service Department. These representatives are responsible for ticket creation and accuracy, initial investigation on the issue or question at hand, gathering the necessary files including relevant data/logging/screenshots, and routing the call to the proper location for further examination, assuming the initial call could not be resolved in an appropriate amount of time. Each day consists of analyzing data, evaluating processes, and problem-solving. Calls examples would include Accounting Batching Accuracy, Bank Reconciliation, Subledger to General Ledger Reconciliation, Sales Invoicing Issues, AP Check Run Processing, Payroll Issues, Part Costing Issues, Auditing Financial Documents, and General Accounting Practice Questions.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills, including Vlookups
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Understanding of the accounting flow from quote to cash
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or relevant degree
  • Work experience as an accountant with knowledge of how to navigate accounting software is a plus

The Finance Consultant is responsible for providing high quality consulting and training services to clients and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the functional and feature characteristics of Global Shop Solutions ERP software. The Global Shop Solutions New Implementations Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating all project activities and resources for new projects to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget.
