The software support representative position is responsible for providing support and training to Global Shop Solutions customers. The individuals in the department typically specialise in one or two of these categories: Accounting, Manufacturing, or Technical. Accounting individuals have a background as a CPA, studied accounting in school, have experience in billing or bookkeeping, or have taken some accounting courses and just have a passion to learn the financial side of the software. Manufacturing individuals have a wide variety of backgrounds such as working in a machine shop or a manufacturing environment, construction, project management, or consulting. Technical individuals have backgrounds in MIS, IT, networking, or programming.
