Job Summary

As a Financial Consultant, you will provide remote training and support to our existing customers. With responsibilities such as:

  • Leading customer to Re-implementing GSS
  • Help to reconcile Ledger and Sub ledger Information to our customers.

    Job Summary

    The Global Shop Solutions New Implementations Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating all project activities and resources for new projects to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget. These projects may involve implementing a combination of software, hardware, and services for our customers. The Project Manager is responsible for managing interactions between internal departments and the client to ensure that the project stays on-track. This role works under the direction of the Team Lead within the New Implementations department and has a profound influence on customer success.

    Job Summary

    Global Shop Solutions UK is currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Financial Consultant to join our team. The Financial Consultant will be responsible for providing exceptional consulting and training services to our clients, while maintaining an extensive knowledge of the functional and feature characteristics of Global Shop Solutions ERP software. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling multiple information technology projects, and delivering best practice recommendations, functional consulting, and strategic consulting services.

    Job Requirements

    As the UK Financial Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Implementing Global Shop Solutions for new customers.
    • Engaging in consulting sessions with customers to gain a deep understanding of their business operations and optimize resource allocation within their company.
    • Developing strong, personalized relationships with customers by aligning with their strategic vision.
    • Collaborating with other team members in the UK and EU to ensure customers receive comprehensive training and support.
    • Assisting the Customer Service and Sales teams as necessary.
    • Applicants must have legal eligibility to work in the UK.

    Other Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, CFO, controller, project management, engineering, construction, manufacturing, consulting, or production.
    • Possession of relevant UK financial certifications, such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), or other recognized certifications in the financial field, are considered a plus.
    • Experience with lean principles/six sigma, supply chain, MRP, bills of material, or working with other ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Smartsheet is advantageous.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and stay current with rapidly developing software.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Superior organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

    Additional Information:

    • Approximately 50-75% of the job involves travel for consulting, training, and project support.
    • Superior communication skills, including outstanding follow-up abilities.
    • Ability to communicate intricate technical and procedural matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Skillful at eliciting information from others when explanations are insufficient or unclear and actively listening to clients' needs.
