Ownership

Founded in 1976 by Dick Alexander, Global Shop Solutions ownership has not changed hands in over three decades, an unparalleled achievement in today's environment where software companies get bought and sold every few years. As a result, Global Shop Solutions customers enjoy a level of stability unmatched in the software industry. Seven members of the Alexander family work in the company. Alexander’s son Dustin, who has been with the company since 1990, is President.

Our Campus

The Global Shop campus encompasses three and one-third acres in The Woodlands, TX, approximately 30 miles north of downtown Houston. The site was chosen to provide Global Shop consultants, prospects, and customers with easy access to Houston Intercontinental Airport. The location affords Global Shop’s employees and visitors with a wide variety of restaurants and other amenities. Global Shop’s campus is constructed to state-of-the art technology requirements. It also houses Global Shop University for new customer classroom instruction.
