Automation Tool and Die – Metal Stamping

Strong Recovery in Hard-Hit Ohio

What has helped Automation Tool and Die (ATD) of Brunswick, Ohio the most during this time of recession and slow recovery? Their integrated Global Shop One-System ERP Solutions software coupled with their excellent internal processes.

With Ohio steadily becoming the very model of post-recovery manufacturing success, the state is leading the way back to a stronger American presence in the global marketplace.

No company exemplifies this positive outlook more than ATD. With a shop floor being occupied by more and more operators, the 41,000 sq. ft. of ATD space is used for metal stamping and tool and die. Staying lean with Global Shop for over nine years, ATD has been able to stay the course of value-added production. As well, their recent growth is the result of making international alliances.

"The last couple of years, we were fortunate enough to land some international transplant accounts. They are very busy and that's been keeping us very busy," states Paul Jira, materials manager at ATD. "So, we've been building a lot of new dies and running a lot of new stampings, and we're handling all of these new projects through Global Shop Solutions ERP."
