When your customer demands that you exchange data via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Global Shop Solutions has the ability to keep you ahead of your competition. EDI is the exchange of routine business transactions in a computer-processable format. EDI Translation Software (Trusted Links Windows by Inovis) communicates with your trading partners through a Value Added Network (VAN).

EDI Mapping Software (Catalyst Mapper) translates information from standard EDI format into Global Shop’s application format, or vice versa.

Global Shop offers a seamless interface with Inovis, the most commonly used VAN.

  • 830 - Planning Schedules with Release Capabilities
  • 850 - Purchase Orders
  • 856 - Advanced Shipping Notice
  • 860 – Purchase Order change Request
  • 862 – Shipping Schedule
Other transactions such as 824, 855. 861, 864 and 997 are all reference transactions and do not require mapping. These are standard information reports supported by Inovis.

Global Shop EDI Services

Global Shop’s EDI consultants will act as liaison between you and Inovis. A separate map must be built for each of your trading partners’ transactions. Global Shop consultants will build your maps from scratch as well as modify existing maps.
