Texas Family Business of the Year Well-Managed Award
from the Baylor University Institute of Family Business.
The award was presented at the 17th Annual Texas Family
Business of the Year Awards Banquet, Thursday, Nov.
2, 2006.
Dick and Kathie Alexander, founders of the company,
accepted the award on behalf of Global Shop.
Dick Alexander’s acceptance speech noted that
the company’s success was owed to “listening
to the customer and to the outstanding contributions
of Global Shop employees.”
